Recently, Google introduced its new technologies at the I/O event and completed its work on the Pixel Watch 2 model. The features of the Google Pixel Watch 2 that are expected to be presented to users along with the Pixel 8 family have been revealed.
Features of the Google Pixel Watch 2 were leaked
According to leaked information, Google will use the Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 processor produced by Qualcomm in the Pixel Watch 2 model. The processor, which was introduced in 2022 and is used in wearable devices, has 4 Cortex-A53 cores and 1 Cortex-M55 core accompanying Cortex-A55 cores. The processor, produced with 4nm technology, is quite ambitious in terms of energy efficiency.
The predecessor of the Pixel Watch 2 model used Samsung’s Exynos processor for smartwatches, which resulted in lower battery life expectations. It is stated that the new device will have better battery life than its predecessor.
Another claim about the new model is that it will be released in two variants. The Bluetooth/WiFi version of the Google Watch 2 will have a price tag of $349.99, while the LTE version will cost $399.99.
Finally, in terms of technical specifications, it is noted that the Pixel Watch 2 has health sensors similar to those of the Fitbit Sense 2. According to leaked information, the Google Pixel Watch 2 will feature an electrodermal activity (cEDA) sensor for stress management and a sensor that measures body temperature.
